How did your personal “why” connect with the mission of Senior Helpers?

My personal “why” has always been grounded in supporting seniors and caregivers. While spending five years working in the non-profit sector directly with older adults, I developed a deep passion for helping older adults live as independently and comfortably as possible. When I learned about Senior Helpers’ mission to provide compassionate care and enhance the quality of life for clients, families, and employees, it immediately resonated with me. It reflected the same values I had already become so committed to. The message is clear: we are here to help in any way we can.

How has becoming a franchise owner changed your life personally?

Becoming a franchise owner has changed my life in so many meaningful ways. It has shown me my own strength and perseverance, and it has helped me grow more confident in my ability to make a real difference in people’s lives. I have been able to build wonderful relationships with community partners and connect with people who share the same passion for supporting seniors. Most of all, it has given me a sense of purpose and the autonomy to create something I am truly proud of. I’m looking forward to the positive changes and growth that I will continue to experience in our first year of opening!

What qualities do you think make a successful Senior Helpers owner?

I believe the most important quality for a successful Senior Helpers owner is having a genuine heart and desire to help others. Our work is rooted in compassion, and each day we step into the lives of seniors and families who place their trust in us. If you don’t truly care about the people you serve, it becomes difficult to make a meaningful impact. When your heart is in the work, it doesn’t feel like a burden, it becomes something you feel proud to show up for every day.
