What made you choose Senior Helpers over other franchise options?

We chose Senior Helpers because it truly stood apart through its specialized, evidence-based programs—particularly the GEMS® cognitive care program and the Parkinson’s Care Program. These programs demonstrated a level of clinical depth, training, and intentional care planning that we did not see in other franchise options. They showed a real commitment to serving seniors with complex needs, not just providing basic companionship. The investment Senior Helpers makes in caregiver education, condition-specific training, and proprietary care models gave us confidence that we could deliver a higher standard of care while building a strong, reputable business.

What surprised you most about owning a Senior Helpers franchise?

How powerful the emotional rewards are. You expect business growth—but you don’t always expect the deep fulfillment that comes from seeing families truly supported in the difficult times.

What does it feel like to see the difference your team makes for clients and families?

It’s deeply humbling. Watching families go from overwhelmed to supported, from stressed to at peace, is the most rewarding part of this work.

What qualities do you think make a successful Senior Helpers owner?

Strong leadership, sales & marketing acumen, emotional intelligence, resilience, operational discipline, and a genuine commitment to serving others.
